I highly recommend this piece of music. Performed it while in college in Philadelphia, PA (a small choir at Temple University performed it in 2016), and it has been one of my favorite pieces of all time! Easy to sing on the voice, especially for tenors and altos, cool crunch chords, but not too much, and such BEAUTIFUL phrases in contour and line with the melody. Each phrase in the piece is set-up to act as a wedding vowel to your loved one: how sweet!!! Such a wonderful story, mesmerizing poetry that is set-up perfectly in the music. It starts in C Major and then has a wonderful transition into D Major. Jeffrey Derus, thanks for offering this choral arrangement into the world of repertoire! If you're looking to support new composers and want a nice lush song, this is the one!
