Arturo "Art" Tapia-Minchez is a Tenor, Composer and Poet residing in Glassboro, New Jersey. Originally from Southern California, Art began his journey performing in several collegiate ensembles including: The Riverside City College Chamber Singers, The University of Redlands Chapel Singers, and The Pomona College Choir. Having moved to The East Coast, Art joined The Philadelphia Symphonic Chorus as a Rostered Vocalist, and currently attends Rowan University as a Voice Performance and Composition double major. Art is deeply informed by Spirituality and Religion, and draws musical inspiration from his journey in various Faith Traditions (but most especially, his recent reconnection with Judaism) It is Art's hope to bring more Religious Diversity, LGBTQIA+ representation and inclusion, and Multicultural Awareness to The Music World. Art continues to share his voice (both vocally and compositionally) and aspires to start his own chamber ensemble, dedicated to Jewish Vocal Music
