Composer from Lincoln, Nebraska. 2014 San Francisco Choral Artists New Voices Project winner, three-time winner of Vancouver Chamber Choir Young Composers Competition, 6-time Downbeat Award winner, ASCAP Young Jazz Composer, and the recipient of the 2013 Cius Award from the University of Kansas School of Music. Over 50 choral and instrumental pieces published with Walton, G. Schirmer, Boosey and Hawkes, Concordia Publishing House, and others. Directs the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and teaches theory at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, instructor of composition at Concordia Nebraska, and directs choirs at Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
