"Hola, People! My name is Carlos Cordero. I am a new choral music advocate and composer. My passion for choral music and connecting with others has led me to create meaningful experiences, including writing ""Holding Our Breath"" with poet Julie Flanders commissioned by ACDA through the Genesis Prize. I hold an M.M. in Composition from the University of Houston. Past commissions include Chorus Austin, Salt Lake Vocal Artists, Ensemble Companio, and Panoramic Voices. I am currently working on my brand The Happy Choir while advocating for new choral music. I am originally from Venezuela and currently live in Austin, Texas."
