About the Score

"Y'varech'cha ADONAI" is an accompanied SATB setting of the Aaronic (Priestly) Blessing from Numbers 6:24-26, known as the "Birkat Kohanim." It opens with a soloist chanting the melody as the choir sustains undergirding chords. The piano enters with gravity and reverence, and the choir sings the entirety of the prayer in Hebrew. A cry for peace and blessing for a world in great need.
