About the Score

Looking Back at Spring was jointly commissioned by the Homewood Arts Program at Johns Hopkins University, and the Center for the Humanities and Department of Communication at Loyola College. It was written for Bass-baritone David Neal who premiered the work with the composer at the piano on March 1st, 2001 in the McManus Theatre at Loyola College in Baltimore, MD.
