About the Score

This is a gigantic work of large scale eccentric key and meter changes that starts with fanfare and continues with the main theme, which originated from the modified Alleluia/Allelu with the accents. Very calm middle portion with strong dissonance with the text of In eccleciis benedicite Domino, followed by a beautiful polyphonic melody that starts with alto. Refrains continue to a brilliant coda. Composed January 21, 2017 Premiered by Kammerchor Manila (conductor Anthony G. Villanueva) at the Jeju International Choral Festival in Jeju Island, Korea, in February 2018
