About the Score

Commissioned by the Pennsbury High School Chamber Choir, under the direction of James Moyer. this is a setting of the George Santayana poem from his set of sonnets titled For W.P. The text is carved into the AIDS memorial in Vancouver, where Peter first found the poem and immediately decided to set it.
