About the Score

There was no other music educator in the public school system so inspiring, so filled with peace, happiness, perfect joy, and contentment as the attractive manifestation of Jim's spiritual being. I have always felt, when in Jim's presence, that I was with someone who sincerely, and affectionately, cared for all past, present, and future students. He taught us to believe in the inherit goodness and beauty in everyone. Thy Light was inspired by a man who led a life by example. I pray that his spiritual light may remain brighter than the sun and the moon.
