"After the smoke clears, there will still be you and me", writes Joseph Ferrari in his poem "The World Afire". This piece reflects on the losses that we experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic, but ends with hopeful message and a positive outlook towards the future. Premiered at the Frost School of Music on October 26th, 2021.
