Setting of a very creepy poem by the late poet Hyam Plutzik. Inspired by the pogroms in Russia at the turn of the 20th Century when people - Jews in particular - were dragged out of their houses never to be seen again. Great Halloween piece as evidenced by several performances in which the singers dress as ghouls.
