About the Score

Commissioned by Council Rock North HS auditioned ensemble, NorthVoice. Mark A. Boyle's original text, based on his interviews with the students in the choir, speaks of their experiences during the last couple of years with the COVID pandemic speaks directly to the way the global pandemic affected the choral art. NorthVoice premiered this piece on Thursday May 25 at the Newtown Presbyterian Church, conducted by their director, Ryan Carlin.
