About the Score

Another setting of Sara Teasdale, written in January 2013 for the Chicago Chamber Choir for their "Burst Out Singing!" concert series (my first work for them as composer-in-residence). First performed on April 7, 2013.

(Note: The conductor messed up a bit and added an extra beat at 2:32, but the singers recovered almost immediately! Impressive, no? :))
