This arrangement of Southern Harmony's Star in the East is set for SSATB voices, descant, and piano by Jay Dougherty. The minor harmonies and continually developing theme will set the mood of the wise men following the star toward Bethlehem evoke the wise men’s quiet journey beneath the star to Bethlehem. This arrangement is very accessible, especially for ensembles light on tenors and basses.
