About the Score

A beautiful and functional setting of the Passion according to St John. It was written for four soloists, SATB, and choir singing the part of the crowd. The congregation (optional) may sing verses of "Herzliebster Jesu" throughout the piece as reflections. Choral parts are not difficult to learn; solo parts follow a psalm-tone like pattern.
