About the Score

Sara Teasdale's "Spring Rain" depicts a memory, in which two possible lovers getting caught in a rain storm. Despite the loudness of their surroundings, their moment together is quiet and emotionally charged. We never truly know what happens, as the moment is tucked away again, before the poet gives away too much. Choral Arts Initiative premiered on July 1, 2022 in Orange County, CA.
