About the Score

"Sonnet 65," which sets the Shakespearean text, was commissioned in 2006 in honor of Dr. Timona Pittman and in memory of Dr. Hal W. Pittman, founders for the Phoenix Bach Choir. "Sonnet 65" was premiered in the spring of 2006 by the Phoenix Bach Choir (now Phoenix Chorale), under the direction of Charles Bruffy, conductor.
