Romance

Tarantella

Romance and Tarantella was commissioned by Christopher Marks for the Organ Historical Society's National Convention in 2014. The Romance is influenced by the music of Gerard Finzi. The Toccata, uses the motivic material from the Romance to create a driving, rhythmic dance that concludes with a virtuosic Conlan Nancarrow style flourish.
