Based on the story of Joan of Arc, this piece tells an inspirational story for your young women to embrace. Joan of Arc was one of the world's most incredible young people, and this song mirrors many aspects of her personality; up-tempo, drive, passion, and the songs ends abruptly - as did her life. The part writing embraces timely unisons that open into 2-part harmonies that are predictable and fall easily into the young female voice.

The commissioning choir performed the premiere at the Virginia Music Educators State Conference.
