About the Score

Psalm 56 was written for the 2017 VocalEssence Remix program where I was paired with Libby Larsen as my mentor composer. This is one of two pieces that I wrote for VocalEssence to perform at the 2017 National ACDA Conference in Minneapolis, MN.

Psalm 56 is most appropriate for mature mixed ensembles. An SATB solo quartet is featured throughout the composition to provide a variety of textures.
