About the Score

A setting of St. Charles de Foucauld's famous "Prayer of Abandon" for SATB chorus and piano. This easily accessible setting of the famous text was commissioned by St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Munster, Indiana, by music director Angelica Van Manen in honor of the ordination of the Rev. Steven Caraher. The emotionally poignant music is a sure favorite with congregations and audiences.
