About the Score

Prayer is a heartfelt setting of snippets of Psalms. The text is simply, "Answer me. Why? How long? I am weary." The setting is for SSATB chorus unaccompanied. It is a reflection of what a deep prayer life becomes after many years of meditation. There are lots of questions and lots of complaining, but it is somehow still peaceful.
