Nettleton Diary is a set of variations and harmonizations on the hymn tune "Nettleton" which is often sung with the text "Come Thou Font of Every Blessing." The work was commissioned by the Organ Historical Society for the 2021 National Convention, "Kaleidoscope of Colors." Premiers of the the variations happen via video on Sundays throughout the month of August. The variations and harmonizations are typical of the improvisations that happen on Sunday mornings, and the work is meant to reflect the amazing malleability of hymn tunes.
