About the Score

"Love Lines" is about personal interconnectedness and the role of loving relationships in fostering the development of the individual. It has rhythmic and somewhat jazzy opening and closing sections, and a lyrical middle section with lush, shifting harmonies. It was composed for C4: the Choral Composer/Conductor collective in 2020, and premiered by the ensemble with conductor Perry Townsend in 2022. “Love Lines” was recorded by The Crossing with director Donald Nally, and released on the album Meciendo (Navona Records, 2024).
