About the Score

“Let’s sing, it’s Spring!” is my paean of praise to the songbirds who ring out their dulcet tones for us each spring. I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Elaine Choi and her Pax Christi Chorale who tested out an earlier version of “Let’s sing, it’s Spring” at their Toronto composer workshop on March 18, 2024. That experience, plus the mentorship of our facilitator Marie-Claire Saindon, helped me to further refine the song that has been recorded here. Merci beaucoup!
