About the Score

Kurt Knecht's setting of the 14th century English mystic Julian of Norwich's text "It It Am" from her Revelations of Divine Love for chorus, soloists, clarinet, violin, viola, and organ. The work uses the traditional Te Deum Gregorian Chant, the chorus enters and continues developing musical ideas. The piece concludes with a grand fugue.
