About the Score

"[He Wishes For] The Cloths Of Heaven" is one of the most popular poems by Irish poet, William Butler Yeats. Written entirely as a single verse, the poem is a profound take on unrequited love that can be divided into three parts: the wish, the offer, and the request. I was immediately drawn to this poem for its simple structure and for Yeats' preference for powerful imagery as a technique to send his message.
