About the Score

"Exsultatione" is set to a short, yet poignant text: "Qui seminant in lacrimis, in exsultatione metent. Et lacrimatus est Jesus." (They that sow in tears, shall reap in joy. And Jesus wept.) The Latin text is taken from the Latin Vulgate Bible. This piece would work wonderfully during the Easter season, and offers an interesting challenge to the intermediate level choir.
