About the Score

In this composition, Kira Zeeman Rugen contemplates the simplicity and joy that one experiences in childhood. Children take pleasure in the bliss of dancing in the wind, the feel of the salt sea air on the face and the absence of life's worries and fears. They experience no distress for heartbreak, lost love, bloodshed, or the cry of the monsters on the wind. Instead, children don't suffer from apprehension because they carelessly embrace childhood by dancing in the wind.
