About the Score
Cradle Song is a piece for unaccompanied SATB choir with both soprano and alto solo parts. This setting of a William Blake text was commissioned by Jim Farrell and the Troubadours from Littleton High School for a performance at the Colorado Music Educator’s Association’s Annual Conference. Fluid solo lines combine with the lush harmonies of the choral parts to soothe someone to sleep in this lullaby.
