About the Score

In "Continuities", poet Walt Whitman explores the ever-changing cycles of nature and emphasizes the continual state of the world that we live in. His fascination with life and human thought is what inspired this piece. The music aims to capture a feeling of continual motion, as well as a curiosity that drives human nature. Premiered on April 27th, 2021 at the Frost School of Music.
