About the Score

Come and See is a rousing rendering of Psalm 66. The mixed meter, tempo changes and broad dynamic range work together to create a highly dramatic addition to any concert. This SATB song has a little divisi and adds a descant at the climax portion, “come and see the works of God - there we will rejoice in him!”

The form of Come and See is designed for teachability, and ranges and voice-leadings are carefully written for accessibility, Come and See was commissioned by the South Carolina Chapter of ACDA and was premiered by the South Carolina All-State Honor Choir on October 12, 2019.
