About the Score

Official anthem of the Magna Graecia Flute Choir, commisionated by the late Maestro Sebastiano Valentino for the 12th anniversary of the foundation of the ensemble.

Remembering the experience of what it meant for me to start entering the world of music through the flute, I came up with images of flaming and crackling lights. The result is this joyful and pressing anthem. The anthem has been premiered on 9th July 2021 in Gioiosa Jonica (Italy) and has been performed at the beginning of each concert of the Magna Graecia Flute Choir during the Summer 2021 and it will be performed in the same way in the future, because it is the official anthem of the group.
