BILLY BOY tells the story of an early American archetypical immigrant – a veteran of King William’s wars, weary of the world and looking for a new home. Perhaps Billy plans to bring his wife over from Lough Neagh, a beautiful lake in Ulster, after he has settled? Equally possible is that Billy has fled his life in Ulster for good, including his wife, and his nostalgia is as much regret for his actions as sadness for what he has lost. Premiered by Salt Lake Vocal Artists in February 2018
