About the Score

Composed for the Hillsboro HS (KS) Women's' Choir on a text written by on of the choir members, the setting creates the tension of waiting backstage for the curtain to rise on a production, then transitions in style as the curtain rises. The text then compares the rehearsal and performance of a musical theater production to the living of life, listening for and living out one's calling.
