About the Score

This composition for women's/treble choir and soprano solo requires sensitivity to phrasing and word stress. The opening, reminiscent of plainchant, builds to an ecstatic, jubilant aleatoric climax with 7-part divisi before resolving to a quiet, reflective cadence. Although challenging, this is a very rewarding piece for a skilled ensemble, and suitable for concert or liturgical performances.
