About the Score

This lovely piece for a concert, wedding, or other sacred service was a gift from the composer to her husband for their wedding. The combined tenor and soprano voices makes this work especially appropriate for a marriage service. In 2005, it was included in the Anthology of American Art Song for the Sacred Service, edited by Karen Leigh-Post.

A solo version of this piece for mezzo soprano, piano, and oboe is also available.
