About the Score

"And Glory Shone Around" is a setting of a familiar Christmas text by the Irish poet, Nahum Tate (1672-1815). It was premiered by the Marsh Chapel Choir of Boston University, Scott Allen Jarrett, conductor. It tells the story of the encounter between the angels and the shepherds on Christmas night.
