About the Score
This arrangement offers a juxtaposition of modern rhythm and sacred hymn supported by a bass instrument and drum set. It should sound (and look) like a dance party but have a depth of soul as well. The text is attributed to St. Francis of Assisi who was uninhibited and free-spirited in his expressions of worship – what better homage than to create sounds that are pulsing with life.
