About the Score

A English setting of Rabbi Nathan of Breslov's well known "A Prayer for Peace" from the Shabbat liturgy for SATB chorus and piano or unaccompanied. The text expresses the desire for universal peace. Technically, it is well within the reach of any choir, and the music's expressive language will make it an audience favorite. This piece was written for Charles Bruffy and Jennifer Rosenblatt.
