Kyle Pederson is a Minneapolis-based composer, lyricist, and pianist whose work is increasingly heard both in the US and abroad. He has won awards for his choral works from the National Lutheran Youth Choir, Cerddorion Choral Ensemble of NYC, and Little Singers of Armenia. Recent commissions and performances of note include TAISM International Youth Festival, AMIS International Middle School Honor choir, Los Angeles Choral Arts Initiative, and KC Vitas Chamber Choir. Three of Kyle’s choral pieces are featured in New Choral Voices Volume II and III by Ablaze Records. Pederson’s work also includes two critically acclaimed piano-based albums, Renewal and 12.25, both collections of acoustic hymn arrangements. Pederson has an undergraduate degree from Augustana University (Sioux Falls, SD), a Masters Degree in Education from University of St. Thomas (St Paul, MN), and an MFA in Music Composition from Vermont College of Fine Art.
