"Brian Martinez (b. 1985) is an active conductor, composer/arranger, singer, music educator, and percussionist native to New Orleans, Louisiana. He has taught all levels of education, from elementary through collegiate, with further experience as artistic director for two community choirs. He enjoys servings as the guest clinician for honor choirs as well as adjudicating music festivals. As a singer, he has experience singing with the New Orleans Opera Chorus, New Orleans Vocal Arts Chorale, and St. Patrick's Church in Downtown New Orleans which specializes in chant and renaissance motets. Mr. Martinez holds a Master of Music Education/Choral Conducting from Florida State University where he studied with Dr. Andre Thomas, Dr. Kevin Fenton, and Dr. Judy Bowers. He also holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Teaching Certificate K-12 from Southeastern Louisiana University, as well as his Level 1 Orff certification. Mr. Martinez is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, National Association of Music Education, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
