A setting of "December Moon" by May Sarton. This was originally written for the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus. I have revised and expanded the work into an SATB setting. The poem is about the changes that can happen in our world when we are not paying attention.

The SoundCloud link is a recording of the Youth Chorus from a couple of years ago. The group is an SAB choir, and the piece is in C-Minor. I have revised the piece for SATB choir and transposed it to E-Minor. This version has not been performed yet.
