An accomplished Director, arranger and composer for vocalists, choral groups and instrumentalists, Belford has performed in many piano recitals as a featured artist and chamber music player in Venezuela, Colombia, Jamaica, Ecuador, Canada and United States as well as Director and Piano Collaborator for professional choirs and vocal ensembles. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Adventist University of Colombia and Master’s in Choral Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago; was an associate professor at the Adventist University of Colombia and Director of Choral activities at " Luis Amigo" Catholic University in Medellin, Colombia. Belford is currently Choral/Instrumental Director of Music at Montini High School In Lombard, Ill,Hinsdale United Methodist Church Choir/Handbell Director and Music Director of "Cantores" Community Choir in the Chicago West Suburbs. He previously directed The Chapel Choir at First United Methodist Church in Downers Grove for ten years, was also a choral teacher and piano collaborator for the music program at Downers Grove South High School, and Piano Collaborator for the world-renowned Anima Singers of Greater Chicago (formerly Glenn Ellyn Children Chorus).
